About
Ristro was born from the idea of combining two names: restaurant and bistro (or bistro). The intention is to let the flavors of the traditional cuisine of the common "restaurant" leak together with the innovative and eviscerated French "bistro". The source of the word is uncertain. It could be a regional expression derived from the word "Bistraud" or "Bistroquet", names at the time given to the athletes of wine merchants or the same vintner. Wanting to create a chic collection point where to serve good wine, what better way to do it than through a name that originally meant a "osteria", while still maintaining our well-established Italian roots? All accompanied by the word to us dear to "restaurant". As it is said, unity is strenght Ristro food & wine.
