I have been recently. It’s a beautiful little village. It is on the Piemonte side. A peaceful relaxed location. From there boats to isola Madre, isola Bella, isola dei Pescatori leave very often. People are kind;very kind!
A little place but a treasure of culture, architecture and food. We saw Alpes covered with snow surrounding blue Lago Magiore.
Town is pretty, but for families I would suggest is better as a base town to go out exploring as within Baveno there is little to do with a young family.Fantastic people and architecture. Lovely quiet town.
