The food at Agriturismo Capalia is superb. In our experience, the meat is succulent and accompanied by juicy sauces and the vegetables are flavoured with herbs. In particular I would mention the tender weed that they pick from the herb garden that adds a lemony scent to a simple tomato salad. The whole family is involved in serving you and everything you eat or drink is made on site, from wine to oil. The menu is set and very generous for only 25 Euros a head, plus they are more than willing to come up with vegetarian options. At night, the setting is magical, sitting outside amongst the mountains and ancient olive trees. The son came to meet us at the foot of the hill and guided us up to the restaurant, to make sure we didn't get lost. A well kept secret amongst locals that deserves to be shared.
