The DEVETAK family has been running the RESTAURANT since 1870. They offer to the customers homemade bread as well as pasta. The raw ingredients come from the family's farm on the Carso (Karst). The cuisine respects the borderland, Austrian-Central European culinary tradition merges with those of Slovenia and Italy. The menu varies according to the change of season and enumerates more than 800 wines from all over the world with particular attention on wines of the region.
