We came based upon the recommendations from our hotel. This is supposedly a favorite restaurant for locals. We tried the fried stuffed zucchini flowers and shared a tasty carbonara, saltimbocca, and simple salad. The prices were very reasonable and the service was friendly.
We had great lunch in Ai Balestrari in Prati with our family. Friendly service. Delicious pizzas. We came late afternoon but service was personal.
Exactly what the title says, delicious meals, generous portions, good quality, fast service, excellent price/value for money. A little walk away from the usual tourist food traps with average meals. Definitely worth the short walk away from the basilica.
