Al Pompiere è una certezza. Situato al primo piano del Palazzo Cenci in Ghetto con menu tipicamente ebraico romano con carciofi alla giudia da urlo quando di stagione. Atmosfera rilassata e servizio impeccabile.
Il Pompiere offers an elegant dining experience with authentic roman cuisine. Although the clientela is a bit too upper class and elderly for my taste, the staff made me feel instantly at ease. Although they were quite formal, they maintained a warm friendliness in their service. The food here is very good. The highlights were the saltimbocca, baccalà and amatriciana. The artichokes were also very tasty.
