Now you understand that the guarantee was easy to make: the most incredible view that Rome can offer, and Michelin-star food!. Aroma restaurant is situated on the roof-top terrace of the five-star hotel, Palazzo Manfredi, facing an unobstructed view of the Colosseum. When it is lit up at night, there can be no scene more iconically representing Rome as Aroma’s.
This was the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel I stayed in so it was very convenient but I made the mistake of booking only two days beforehand so I wound up sitting inside and not in the open area where the colosseo is the fantastic backdrop. The service is lovely and attentive. I had the degustation and the first four offerings were just top-notch, the middle three or four a bit middling before the evening finished with a whiz-bang dessert. More sweets came with coffee.

Great ambiance. Fantastic food. An amazing view of the Colosseum! Great space and accommodates large groups. Staff are very helpful and quick on their feet. Best place to be in ROMA!
This michelin star restaurant provides the most spectacular view of the colosseum. They have limited seating, i booked our table a couple of months in advance.The elevator was not working, hence had to use the stairs to reach the restaurant which is located on the terrace. But once we were seated, the stunning view of the Colosseum light up at night made the effort worth it.The food was delicious, i especially liked the duck and the pasta. We were pressed for time or else would have tried the tasting menu.The service was top notch. The wines suggested by the servers tasted good.Overall this Michael Star restaurant has a view like no other.Definitely worth visiting, the view alone is worth five stars.
