Found this place on a short walk from my hotel. I walked in at an odd time (around 530, in between traditional Italian lunch and dinner) having just got off the plane and checked in to my hotel. 3 of the staff were seated at a table doing paperwork and immediately jumped to their feet when they saw me walk in. Enthusiastically greeting me at the entrance. After asking if the lady spoke English, she replied with perfect English and helped me to a table, giving me a menu and explaining the specials as well as offering up some suggestions. I decided to go with a half bottle of wine, an antipasto player, bottle of water and Gnocchi. The waitress was amazing and immediately bought out my water and wine along with house made potato crisps. Followed by a simple, yet very tasty (and cheap!) antipasto platter and basket of bread. The wine was tasty, modestly priced and perfect for one. After the antipasto came the Gnocchi. Made in house. Which was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Simple tomato and basil sauce hit the spot perfectly. It was also rather large considering it was listed as a ‘primi’Overall my meal was 27€ which I think was very cheap for everything I ate. Looking forward to going back soon for the friendly staff and to try another handmade pasta.

One of the best restaurants in Rome. Must try squid stuffed with buffalo mozzarella, pizzas and grilled fish. Buzzing with guests all the time. Great value for money.

Ottimo locale. Ottima cucina italiana ma la cosa migliore è la loro carne alla brace. Davvero ottimo anche il servizio. ogni cliente viene infatti trattato con cura e riguardo. Molto fine e elegante.

We ordered takeaway including chocolate cake for dessert. The cake was burnt, so we went back to complain. They apologised and changed it with a new piece of chocolate cake now dusted with a white layer of icing sugar. It seemed ok, but it wasn’t. Just some more burnt cake again. It was late, we were tired, so we decided not to go out a third time to complain.
