We ate here twice in our trip to Rome, the first time all the pastas we had were great, specially the fettuccine and the lasanha. The service was perfect they made us feel welcome and easily the only place we felt like that. The second time we just went to try the nutella panacota ( which we didn’t get to try the first time) it wasn’t what we expected, it was good but too much nutella on top made it too sweet. Would recommend.
Un comunissimo ristorante turistico italiano, che si vanta di fare la migliore carbonara di Roma e che, almeno stando al menù, dovrebbe avere prezzi nella media. In realtà i prezzi lievitano parecchio (28 euro a testa il risultato finale di questo pranzo) con il costo delle bibite e dei coperti, e il tutto per una qualità decisamente non eccelsa. Il vino che abbiamo preso era un Sangiovese IGP (il grado più basso di denominazione enologica), che mal reggeva, pur essendo un rosso, sia carbonara, che sughi, che formaggi; gli antipasti erano abbastanza artefatti anche se non memorabili, e in ogni caso si sono rivelati la parte migliore del pranzo. Come primo, Io ho preso una polenta piuttosto liquida e sugosa, che doveva essere il piatto del giorno, mentre i miei commensali hanno provato vari tipi di pasta, carbonara, amatriciana e gricia, e solo l’ultima a me, assaggiando forchettate da tutti i piatti, è parsa decente. Una nota di merito però va al personale, davvero gentilissimo, che ci ha anche offerto un bicchiere di limoncello a fine pasto.
