The worst service we experienced in Rome. Terrible! We tried to book in advance to which employe answered me rudely that it was impossible, as they were crowded that night. However, we decide to take a risk and go without reservation and we were fastly attended as were more four couples. After all, they were not so full at all! No one give us the menu until we requested it. The service was so disorganized! There was no order in the service. They only took our order after people who came after us been served. In addiction, when our order finally came (after 20-30 minutes), it didn’t came at the same time. Like I said before, T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E! I’m not giving a negative rating just because of the carbonara itself. This pasta dish it’s absolutly amazing. The real carbonara and the best I’ve ever tried! The other dish that we requested, a pasta with tomato and mozzarella, it was nothing special. If I recommend it? NOOO.
Absolutely Incredible Meal! As an American eating in truly Italian Restaurants, it has been a bit intimidating with a limited vocabulary. However, we we made very welcome by the staff and given excellent recommendations based on our needs (my wife is lactose intolerant, so traveling to the mothership of parmesano reggiano and gelato has been a bit challenging). We went to the restaurant without reservation at 9:00 (recommend doing so rather than what we did), and were told to come back in an hour. Seeing they were wall to wall, we walked for a little while and returned. When we returned, the place was still busy but they got us in within 5-6 minutes. The server was really busy, but when we got his attention, he was there very quickly, and was extremely patient with us. We asked for his recommendations on what to order, and none disappointed. The spaghetti carbonara was exquisite, the deep fried vegetables was quite good, and the pork with garlic, prosciutto, and basil was a great end of the meal. Would highly recommend!
Romanian food at it’s best
Apesar de ter tido problema com o tempo de espera, a massa é sensacional!!! O carbonara que eles servem é algo de outro mundo, vale MUITO a pena!
