  I’d just come on point. Its not authentic. First i thought it would be few dishes but all the dishes were just so bad! They were bland and were lacking taste. I regret picking this restaurant solemnly on rating. Paneer dishes can be improved and also the quality of it could be improved.

  After a week of eating Italian food we were really craving for some Indian food and after searching in the net we decided to go to Il guru, but Maharaja which is just before Guru caught our eyes and we decided to go there instead of Guru.Since it was raining we decided to have tea before ordering the main courseThe tea was served quickly and it was ok in terms of taste.After we ordered for the main course we asked them to join the table as the one in which we were sitting seemed small for three person and hardly able to accommodate all the dishesThe guy who was serving us said that the tables cannot be joined as they were busy, where as it was clearly visible that they were not busy.We ordered for dal tadka, chicken biryani, Chana and rotiThe biryani didn’t even look like biryani and forget about the taste, it tasted like some pieces of chicken was put on plain white rice, I don’t have words to explain the tasteThe dal and Chana were o.k. nothing to write home aboutOverall having pictures of star like Sachin and shahrukh doesn’t make it a star restaurant

• High On Food

  Maharajah was a welcomed break from the delicious pizzas and pastas we had eaten all week. The restaurant has a great ambience and the staff are really nice. The food was on the mild side for our taste but it was totally worth it.We ordered mix veg pakora. It was quite delicious according to my husband since I didn’t get any!Good vegetarian menu.
