Marcello al Quirinetta

About

Pursuit of excellence in the raw materials. Simplicity in the treatment of the ingredients, to eat healthy and enjoy the high quality. This is the local basic recipe. An all-round, from breakfast to lunch passing through tea breaks, aperitifs up to the dinner, open from 7 am to 2 am in the night. An attention to raw materials is visible in the cuisine at Quirinetta coffee and cuisine. A cuisine made with seasonal raw materials, attention to every detail to satisfy the eyes and palate. Selected from the cafeteria, with only single origin 100% Arabica coffee roasted in fire and freshly ground, specialty Lady Cafe roasting (a small laboratory with the classic method of direct flame roasting with a roaster of 1954) to research herbal tea , with attention to the backgrounds (thanks to Namastey and its 160 varieties of tea and infusions). A wine list offers "different" and the entire Italian wine that provides research outside the channels of commerce by offering a wide range of high quality organic wines. Refinement and attention that we find also in the beer list, where the "Borgo" Beer at Quirinetta is her first flagship store. The artisan production no hydrogenated fats or palm oil, and the space reserved for noble fats of the butter and oil EVO, are dedicated to the surplus pastry. Under the care of Viteculture (which continues its spaces into disuse in Rome) work by enhancing the historical space of the theater relives Quirinetta Caffe e Cucina becomes his hangout educated about food.A renovated space taking into account new requirements but maintaining and bringing to light all that this hotel had the original, an open space in which design, the recovery of pre-existences and the architectural beauty of the time, they encounter a careful kitchen looking and to simplicity. Recycled materials and vintage that gives the place a warm atmosphere, wooden chairs of the 60 relined velvet of different colors, chandeliers created with gauze to filter the light and make it warm, and those walls, those cracks. Cracks created over time by overlapping plaster that were filled with gold as were surgical sutures (the 'kintsugi' of which I spoke at the beginning), underlining the recovery of a space and embracing the stories passed, a recovery and not an invasion of space.
