We were advised about the Jewish area to eat traditional Italian dishes. So, like we always do, checked on Zomato to see the best one to eat, and it was Nonna Betta. It was crowded, and with a line but it was fast to get a table. We sat outside, which was really pleasant, but it took to long to order the dishes. We had to call the staff more than 3 times. The antipasti was great, the specialty of the restaurant is the artichoke, so we ordered that. Delicious! Also the minestrone soup was very good. To drink we ordered the Elphas Rosso 2016. Also very nice!As a main course, I ordered a tagliolini with artichoke and my husband the tagliolini al ragu. It was a pity that the dishes were cold when they arrived at the table.

The Jewish /Roman food in Nonna Betta is very good. The service here is very poor. Till the time the table does not get empty they will keep you wait.
Had my first dinner in Italy here. Nonna Betta definitely came up on the top of my list when I was researching restaurants in Rome. I would definitely recommend ordering the fried artichoke, Jewish style and the ragu for mains.
