We ate here twice during our 5 day stay in Roma and our first and our last night in Roma delivered the best service and food we experienced during the entire trip. Amazing pasta, carve and desserts, high quality ingredients (I worked as a chef for 7 years and I feel you can tell this place just has higher standards) The service is very good and the owner is a perfectionist who does everything to ensure your visit is spot on. Osteria 44 is a 6 out of 5 for me and you can tell by how many regulars the place seems to have (if I lived in Roma I’d eat here every week)
This was an incredible experience on our honeymoon. The owner Sergio stayed open late for us after the Opera Toscs one night and created the most memorable experience with a salad, truffle pasta and grilled white fish with a taste of his homemade olive oil too. Superb!
