One of the oldest gelateria in Rome that serves a wide array of gelato flavours at a nominal cost. Sadly the fun ends here. Apart from the legacy the gelato here tastes abysmal. The texture nor the temperature of the gelato feels authentic and it was sadly one of the only place in Rome where I actually had gelato with minute ice crystals that appear while it’s frozen beyond the temperature it should be.We have had gelato in more than 20 stores in a short stay of 4 days in Rome and we can definitely vouch for much better places than this. Go here only to check it off the bucket list.Oh yeah, make sure to add whipped cream on your gelato, adds a very good flavour to the gelato. Also, the portion size is quite large so take the smallest portion size and try different flavours instead as it’s quite inexpensive anyways.
