Pan Bernardo – an offshoot of the nearby Oratorio restaurant – is an excellent place to go for lunch or for a coffee during the morning. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff is nice. Service is good indeed but unfortunately there is no wi-fi service until next September. It is well positioned on Piazza San Bernardo, 200 steps away from Piazza della Repubblica (also a Metro A stop) Many people from the many State and private offices around take advantage of Pan Bernardo for their lunches. While the place has nothing special that hits the eye, you will be pleased to discover how much good the food is for a very reasonable price.
