A great restaurant in the tradition of an earlier epoch, before the fad of modernization and global-chic and ruined what was left of the great Roman cuisine of pre-War era. The kitchen is excellent, especially the desert and pastry section, but the entire menu is superior. The food is fresh, the preparation thoughtful. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 40 years, beginning when it was located across the street. Service is professional but (or also) friendly. Dine outside when weather permits.
We came across this place walking around the old city. The beautiful fridge display is very appetizing. The food is great flavor and taste. We had the salmon octopus salad that was fresh and delicious. The pastas were al dente with nice sauces and great quality cheese. The bread was the highlight of the meal. Many kinds that were delicious and freshly baked. Keep it up. And will definitely try the desserts next time.
