I am writing this pretty late. It’s been about 2 months and all of sudden I thought to check if zomato supports for any European countries I had visited this summer. I went on a for a 5 day Italy trip during my European summer. This small café in Rome was the last eating destination before my flight back to France. I was super happy to have found this place near the grand plaza, the starting point for Roman triple architectural wonders. This cafe is near the bus stop, one stop ahead of the grand piazza. The ambience is awesome. The pictures would show the wooden barrels and antique looking chairs used in the cafe. It gives an awesome feel to just sit down there and have a good chat with your friends. It gives a feeling of nostalgia. There isn’t a huge rush, although we were there a bit early in the morning. The food, no words to describe them. Being in Italy, we already had quite a good number of pizza. We wanted to tick of the authentic pasta. On enquiry, the chef told that we shouldn’t miss the bolognese and off course the magical tiramisu. I had always craved to eat what is considered the best sweet dishof the world, the tiramisu and the time was ripe for it. Soon came our Italian pasta and bolognese. The pasta was one of a kind, made up off three different kinds of cheese. It was more like a cake and served in an earthen pot. One needs to cut out small pieces and enjoy. We kept on munching and it never seemed to get over. The quantity was huge. The bolognese is a specialty of Italian cuisine which contains flat noodles with a sauce of minced beef, tomato, onion and herbs. It was succulent and awesome. We were almost down over eating when we were done with these two. But, the craving for tiramisu was still there. And, it was worth all the extra efforts. It was really all that we needed to end the Italy trip. A blend of superb cake, awesome cream and choco powder is what makes a tiramisu great. A must visit place if you are in Rome. The service was great. They were well versed in English unlike many other Italian eateries. The chef suggested us well and made sure we got whatever we needed.
