What a memorable experience of excellent food! I ate there on a holiday in June 2016 and found the owner/chef very hospitable, with a good customer focus and knowledge of the food. The Dishes I tried over my 4 day stay in the area were Rigatoni with a simple but warming tomato Sugo, the amazing porchetta (Roasted Pork) with hints of rosemary and spices and my all time favorite dish – Carbonara. It was served pith a pasta similar to Spaghetti with a different name and was the real deal – Guanciale, Egg, Peccorino cheese, Salt and Pepper. The Spectacular simplicity and quality of ingredients made me unbelievably happy and in food dreamland. The Mozzarella di bufala I tried as an entree was also spectacular as it melted in my mouth. It was fresh, a bit watery, creamy and had a slight biterness to it. I would highly reccomend this place and go back in a heartbeat; real Roman/Lazio cuisine in a comfortable setting with good prices.
