Went to La Tavernaccia during my last trip to Italy.Typical roman restaurant and menu.Food is tasty. Only comment i have is that the staff are not very welcoming, maybe because the restaurant is full and they’re very busy.
I came here due to the great reviews. They initially refused to seat me as I was alone. Pasta was okay but the ham was so tough it was borderline inedible. Also a disappointing portion size. Other meals looked nice, but I couldn’t see what the fuss was about. Wish I’d stayed in and cooked for myself.

Wow, discovered by chance, long time I hadn’t had proper Italian food, nice atmosphere and service, definitely a to-go place. Call to book as it can get crowded, specially for dinner. Highly recommended!
Ottima trattoria, cucina romana con qualche rielaborazione. Buonissimi i secondi piatti a base di carne, ma anche i primi piatti meritano di essere assaggiati.Servizio Buono e prezzi assolutamente ragionevoli.
