A busy cafe bar in the vicinity of Hotel Saint Paul, where I spent my two days in Rome, was my nearest and thus obvious option for a morning shot and I tried two cups of the traditional breakfast drink here. While being far from perfect (bubbles were plentiful), the consistency, the temperature and the taste was acceptable – but no more than that (13/20). In my view, this is an establishment aimed both at hotel guests and scores of university students passing by. Quite comically, this bar was the first thing I saw from my room after waking up.
