Location immutata. Ma piatti di antipasti seri, buoni e freschi. Il carpaccio di tonno crudo con la salsa alla curcuma ha un suo perché , Anche i calamari tiepidi con germogli di soya. Qualche verdura non di stagione, perdonabile
Cold starters were delicious and extraordinary. They have a special technique in cooking. Waiters were always welcoming and positive. The place was full of locals which means it is a good place if you want to have a good dining experience with Italian fish cuisine.
Simple menu of super-fresh fish dishes that are well prepared. Antipasti of cold seafood platter was a delight of fresh slices of assorted fish fillets – tuna, salmon, sardine, and a couple others I can’t name. My main of San Pietro (John Dory) with artichokes and shallots was simple and delicious, while my wife’s Tagliolini with sea urchin was a delight, like tasting a mouthful of the sea (in a good way!). The flavor was delicate and paired perfectly with the thin noodles. Only drawback (and what knocked this review from a 4.0 to a 3.5) was the service. They seemed like they were operating one waiter short, despite not being completely full. Getting our meal out on time worked out fine, but it took so long to get the check and pay for dinner, I thought we were going to have to spend the night. Although the walk through the kitchen to reach the rear dining room is interesting, when booking, I’d suggest asking for a table in the front dining area. It’s far less hectic, and a quieter atmosphere. (Full disclosure – my wife disagrees with this recommendation.)
