Occorre prenotare con discreto anticipo ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. Carne e pesce di qualità e una lista vini selezionata per tutte le tasche. Rapporto qualità -prezzo ottimo nonostante sia a due passi dai Duomo (ergo, meglio usare i mezzi). Sandro, il titolare, è sempre molto disponibile e attento. In assoluto uno dei miei ristoranti preferiti a Milano
I lived in Milan for 3 years and this is my favorite restaurant. If you want to come here, especially on weekends, make sure you book in advance. Waiting list can reach a month for Saturdays and Fridays.Prices are ridiculously cheap for the food quality you get. Some dishes don’t change all over the year, but they try to change the menu to adapt it to the season and have always fresh ingredients. I would definitely recommend the pasta. Spaghetti all’astice and spaghetti al parmigiano are definitely my favorites. As the waiter will tell you when you order, don’t get tempted by the menu to order everything, portions are very big and you might stop after the fist dish. The staff is very kind, always smiling and giving tips. House wine is good.
It’s a beautiful setting, perfect for a romantic date. The mussels are of best quality and super fresh. We chose the Cozze Patranesca which is mussels with an olive/lemon sort of dressing in a hot pot. The waiter had suggested that it’s the best flavor to order and he was not mistaken. We also had Tagliolinj Nerink con vongole e ‘Nduja. It’s a a spicy squid ink spaghetti with clams and the four cheese Gnocchi. However, the Gnocchi turned out to be the winner with a perfect blend of local Italian cheeses in a warm dish. And finally for dessert, we had the TreTiramisu (a definite must try one of the Tiramisu bowls made of coconut!) and the Cannoli Bricolage where you make your own Cannoli.
