About

Situated close to the "Marco Polo" ramparts, from which the restaurant is named, is one of the most beautiful and characteristic of the old center of Alghero. The recent restoration work, completed in 2003, has made these ramparts a totally pedestrian area, intensely promoting the recycling of a wonderful area dedicated to families and couples who like walking and enjoying the landscape on the Gulf of Alghero. The "trattoria"restaurant, structured with natural stone, typical of the old town, provides a refined and elegant scenery where having a rest in the flavours of the dishes, especially the traditional fishermen ones, combined with a friendly competence and courtesy, and a wine list from the best Sardinian wineries. House specialities are piercing scents of the sea, which become a precious combination of tradition and innovation, inspired by the flavours of traditional Mediterranean cuisine enhanced by a fresh, light and refined preparation, composed of a careful selection of raw materials of the highest quality. Closed sunday evening and monday
