Seasonal closure from 27th of September. Welcome to Chimbe Restaurant, our restaurant is situated in via Vecchia Fonte 42 in Palau, years ago it was popular Bar and ice cream parlour "Due Palme". The interiors have been completely restructured and fitted, the project was assigned to Nicola Amato and the works to Giovanni Deiana's company from Olbia. They have created a luminous, elegant and comfortable environment with an improved terrace which faces Palau's main square. The restaurant includes an elegant dining room which can welcome 30 guests and an outdoor terrace for another 60 guests, offering an airy modern and elegant atmosphere perfectly in line with Simonetta Capodicasa's innovative cuisine. The kitchen is run by the chef Emiliano Cabras who renovates traditional Sardinian dishes by serving them in a contemporary key, combining flavours and playing with contrasts. In our menu you will find some great fusion dishes, purposefully made for satisfying guests in search of new sensations. The cuisine's creativity and refinement are amplified with a wine cellar of high quality that offers our clients important labels selected amongst the best on the market.Details

The waiting time for the food is too long, and the price of food is too much for the food quality provided (for example: the Beef fillet contains a tendon not very eatable)!
I saw all many positive reviews,so I went here.It was average to say the least, pasta was ok, needed a lot of salt and pepper.The mixed cheeses were shocking.Don’t even bother. The steak was average,nothing amazing.Go somewhere else honestly.
Really delicious whole sea bass cooked in salt, deboned and served for us by the charming Gianluca, who had been smiling and helpful at every stage of our time in the restaurant. Excellent food and service.
