MaMa Trattoria Pizzeria is a family-run pizzeria, conveniently nestled on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Arzachena. The location is an ideal oasis to relax and experience quality Sardinian cuisine whilst enjoying the local tourist attractions, shopping or exploring nearby beaches. MaMa Trattoria Pizzeria begins producing quality caff macchiato and cappuccinos from our carefully selected coffee beans at 6.30am. For the perfect start to the day, we offer our customers a delicious breakfast with locally produced, freshly baked pastries and made to order organic fruit smoothies using local natural ingredients! The menu at MaMa is diverse, changing slightly with the seasons as we serve only the freshest food. An array of Vegeterian and Gluten Free meals are available. Fresh fish, baked or grilled, is a Sardinian specialty. Our famous pizza chef, Fabio, produces during lunch and dinner, individually tailored pizzas with his personal touch, cooked to perfection, from his wood burning oven. Aperitivo in the evening at Mama Trattoria Pizzeria is the ideal location to enjoy traditional home-made Sardinian biscuits, olives from the harsh climate of central Sardinia, locally cured salami, prosciutto from the island and a wide selection of local cheeses. Local custom dictates that this culinary smorgasbord must be accompanied with the traditional flatbread from Sardinia, 'pane carasau'! And experience has shown that the local produce is best enjoyed with a glass of Sardinian Cannonau or Vermentino! Meal times in Sardinia are an adventure to be enjoyed, and dessert is an important part of that journey - tiramisu, sorbetto, panna cotta and of course, the famous Sardinian dessert of Seadas, are all offered at MaMa! Finally, a meal in Sardinia is not complete without a 'digestivo' - a small frosted glass of locally produced mirto or limoncello!
