Almercato - Food, Wine, Pizza & Mercato - grew up from the restaurant "La Cantinaccia e le sue quattro stagioni" where Beppe Distefano (Almercato Restaurant Pizzeria, Owner) has been working for a long time. He preserved both the particular "pleasant" style of meals, introducing other new e original ones, thanks to his long experience, as well. At Almercato you can eat a lot of delicacies: traditional sicilian sausages and cheese, german and spanish foods, delicious pizzas, a large number of wines and beers, delicious sweets and cakes, but overall, fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables, that you can even buy at our small market, at the entrance, for the same current market price. We have three particular offers during the week: - On TUESDAY you can have an amazing COUS COUS; - On WEDNESDAY you can have a MAIN COURSE (choosen by us) and a DRINK for 10 EUROS; - On SUNDAY you can have a PIZZA (choosen by us) and a DRINK for 10 EUROS; Nowadays, Almercato is the only one Restaurant Pizzeria in Catania who has got a KIDS' ROOM: a special area of the Restaurant where your children are looked after from our staff, so that you can have your dinner with your friends without any problems. THIS SERVICE IS TOTALLY FREE but is available on Friday and on Saturday night. During the other days, booking is necessary.
