I never leave Catania without stopping here. Often for granita con brioche but today I decided to go for the gelato special, the Ernesto. I was not disappointed
The sweets at Ernesto are very good, but the pasta from the daily menu was below average for italian standards.

Outdoor seafront last summer. Indoor this time round. The octopus salad was as fresh as they come. Followed up with a delicious cannolo Siciliano.
