In the middle of Catania City, near Piazza Manganelli, this cheap Restaurant and pizzeria Is good, nice pizza and horse hamburger. Service not eccellent.
Pasta was way too salty, vegetables were under-cooked and bland, meat was chewy. The only thing that was acceptable were the calamari – however we had ordered insalata di polpo – go figure.
We were hungry and not much was open on a Sunday just after 5:30pm. Stopped here for dinner. Bolognese was quite nice, and also had the mixed grill, which seemed a little undercooked. My wife had a pizza which she said was just ok.
Excellent food, fantastic location but perhaps most gratifyingly, the nicest staff we’ve come across in Sicily. They were incredibly nice, welcoming and even said hello the following day when we were out and about in Catania – a real treat!
We came there because of the close neighbourhood of Our place. Pizza is ok, but the Carbonara – was overcooked. They have great Donna Fugata wines. This place is fine for basic pizza to eat.
