With a storm threatening, we could shelter inside for aperitivi. Request for Aperol and soda, not spritz, was met with a perplexed look. Drinks average, no head on beer. Snacks average. Prices average. Service surly. Did not return.
Should have seen this coming given the location, but this is a classic tourist trap. Food and drink were below average for the city and prices well inflated. He’s avoided, there are many nice places in the side streets behind.
We enjoyed breakfast for several mornings in this place and also had lunch once with a good bottle of red wine. People who work there are very friendly and open. Special thanks to Laura! Try Arancini there! Delicious!
Granita was overpriced and with pieces of ices. Not that tasty either. I was expecting much more from a placed located in front of the teather.
Nice venue for coffee and a little cake , or several if you can’t decide from the array on offer. Opposite Theatre Massimo and good to watch the world go by.
In a lovely setting opposite Teatro Massimo is where we had breakfast of the normal pastry and coffee. Delicious pastry, crema, but coffee not great but still ok. Very reasonably priced, particularly by Australian standards, and also because of setting.
