"Da Franco" was born from the passion for hospitality. The story in our case is the most classic of the stories we could call: From father to son! Franco, who was born in Salina, decided to go home about 40 years ago to cultivate his passion: cooking. So he decided to open the restaurant "Da Franco". The slogan he coined was the perfect synthesis of his love for Salina and the passion for cooking: the best of nature. The love for the homeland, and for the fruits it gave, became the guide of his kitchen. The fish, obviously only fresh, from the Aeolian sea was fused with the products of the land that Salina produced. Mainly capers, porcini mushrooms (from Fossa mountain of Felci) and malvasia (nectar of the Gods), but also wild vegetables, fennel, rosemary.
