Mueggen, or "the area protected and sheltered from the sea and the wind”, a small district in the valley of the same name, unique in appearance, environment, climate, atmosphere and an "island within an island," a place for the soul. In Mueggen, on this "island within an island" there is a small oasis, suspended between the blue sky and the green of the vineyards, where Salvatore Murana’s winery "guesthouse" can be found. Here the aromas and flavours that our wonderful land generously offers us can be found, you can feel the capers, dried tomatoes and jams and many other things accompanied by a glass of wine. You will not be welcomed as "customers" or "tourists", but as "friends", curious to find out what nature has to offer if it is loved, respected and protected. You will be able to drink Pantelleria and eat healthy; you will discover what the mothers and grandmothers used to cook a long time ago, with great simplicity, for their own family. If you wish, you can take these flavours, smells, emotions and memories home with you…. Just tried, tasted and experienced. From simple wine tasting to an aperitif, right through to the evening, when our guesthouse is transformed into a magical "tavern" where guests can dine and taste our wines combined with traditional dishes, using only genuine products, satisfying the needs of every palate, from carnivores to vegetarians, from organic and traditional dishes, concluding with vegans. Come to visit us and discover a remote area of the island, where you can taste a good glass of wine watch the sunset in the vineyards, accompanied by a warm summer breeze and only with the sound of your breath.
