A journey into the Neapolis Archeological Park to discover the taste of food from the past. Pizza, focaccia and bread with a simple dressing of oil and salt all made with old Sicilian grain varieties, sourdough culture and baked in a wood-fired oven using wood pieces from citrus and olive trees. Caponata, parmigiana, and other typical Sicilian specialties using organic vegetables, organic cheeses and artisan Sicilian hams. Wonderful service, excellent food, incredible ambience outdoors in the shadow of the Teatro Greco, people have been unfairly dissing the place on the Italian site. Not fair! It deserves to be among the top ten. We’ve been twice in two weeks.
