Rude and un welcoming, not the best impressions to give of Sicilians. We were told not to touch the fruit!!! first time we have heard of this in all of our worldly travels. How else are you meant to tell if the fruit is good?
The nectarine that I purchased from this market was the absolute best ever. I went back each morning. It was sweet and beautifully colored. I love fruit, this was an experience.
