This is a tiny trattoria down a side street not far from the centre of Palerm. There are about 25 covers max. There is no menu. But you can order either the fish menu or the meat. The owner a delightful old lady, Mamma Carmela cooks the food to order and subject to market availability in her own kitchen. The food is served by her daughter & grandchildren. The walls are adorned with a lifetime of the families memories including may local celebrities who have enjoyed the hospitality. The food is fresh, tasty and absolutely authentically Sicillian. The Ritz it isn't!! You will have one set of utensils & paper napkins but you feel valued and part of the family for the night. 2 people can have the full dinner including dessert & wine for less than 45. We went back on our last night. We loved it!
