I always though I could not find a mediocre meal in Tuscany. The 15 Euro meal for 2 courses was given minimum attention by the cook. The house wine was as over priced as the meal. The people were friendly and helpful however.
Nothing fancy about Capitan Uncino, but good food for its price. If you want to eat late, or you want a quick bite, just go there, you won’t be disappointed. Friendly servants, and a great view from the terras on the medieval village of Monteriggioni.
