After reading all the good reviews on this page we were really looking forward to this visit. Unfortunately it wasn’t good. The food was mediocre, prices a little higher than presented here and there was no view. Not worth a rating of 4,5.
We stopped here after climbing to the church in San Gimignano. We sat outside. We had a coffee and did some people watching. The coffee was fine. It was too early to eat lunch.
We had pasta pici cacio e pepe, tagliatelle alla norcina – both delicious and very tasty. For secondo we took maiale al forno con patate and it was perfect – I think I’ve never had so soft pork meat!
