Great biscotti. Though I like the cantucci a lot, but my favourite from Mattei is bruttiboni. It’s almond paste cookies with spices. Great with tea and coffee. Excellent gift.
The history of biscuits. For generations and through 2 world wars they still continue. Amazing. Fresh. Friendly staff. And best of all it taste the best. It will make you cry from happiness!
So I am sure that the whole world (except me) knows that the correct way to eat a biscotti is to dunk it in dessert wine. Well I learnt something new today from the owner seen here.
Lovely biscotti shop & very helpful staff. Able to try before you buy & quite reasonable. Really yummy & their speciality is Brutti e Buoni- must try as I then bought 1/2 a kilo.
