In our Wine Club Lavagna - Wine Museum can both taste the wines and make a travel into agricoltural and wine history and visit a large representation of tools and pictures of the passed centuries. Tools are restored or preserved and their use is described in detail. On the ground floor of a building of the fifteenth century we have the reading corner with tourist information for our guests, excursions and visits to wineries, books on wines to consult and free wifi. Then in the basement the old cellar with vaulted ceilings and a mediaeval well. In our Wine Club you can taste the wines of Montecarlo and Tuscany, together with regional products such as extra virgin olive oil, honey, jams, cheeses and salami. Montecarlo, a medieval fortress to defend the Via Francigena, honored today with the "Orange Flag" and strength of the "Wine Road of Lucca and Alta Versilia "is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday,visiting some important cities art and history , that are only few kms far.
