Nice view and friendly staff. We stopped for a cheese tray and a drink. The cheese came with walnuts and honey – a nice surprise.
This bar has the most stupendous views, very rustic and authentic. Plenty of locals, which is always a good sign.The owner and staff are lovely and friendly. I would happily move to Pienza to make this my local. ?
We only had a couple drinks but it was a lovely place to sit down for a while and enjoy the fabulous views.
Stopped here for a late afternoon drink in the sunshine and it was bliss. It’s on the city wall with views across the countryside and was protected from the wind, so a perfect sun trap. Drinks are reasonable and service is good.
What could be better than a cooling drink on a hot summer’s day? A cooling drink with a view over the Val d’Orcia. During our two night stay in Pienza we came to this bar three times, thanks to its friendly staff and delicious spritz.
