Our meal here was lovely, and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was busy, and obviously very popular with the locals. It was recommended by our b&b host.
Try the Pici caccio e pepe, so tasty. Normally I avoid street side restaurants in a piazza, too touristy. But the hotel recommended it highly. The food, service and ambience made it a special meal.
If you want to enjoy rustic, hearty food from Tuscany you should visit Papei in Siena. We have visited them many times now, and it is a pleasure every time. Well cooked food, friendly service and always a smile.
The Tuscan bread soup was beyond delicious!!!! Oh and the dessert was also so good. Not too sweet . The service was excellent and efficient!
