About

The close artistic and cultural affinity between Venice and Florence has brought an enchanting piece of the Venetian elegance in the amazing Tuscan capital. The historical Caffe Florian, opened in 1720 in St. Mark's Square in Venice, now finds its natural space in Florence, with the opening of this new and prestigious location where the exclusive coffeehouse and the fine dining meet the Contemporary Art. Part of the private Florian Art Collection is now here on show in a permanent exhibition, Aron Demetz, Mimmo Rotella, Fabrizio Plessi, Gaetano Pesce, Irene Andessner, Bruno Ceccobelli, Marco Nereo Rotelli, Paolo W. Tamburella, Luca Buvoli, Massimo Nordio, Arcangelo and Fausto Gilberti are some of the many both Italian and international artists who, over the years, reated exclusive pieces of art expressly for the Venetian Caffe Florian. And now their works are in Florence, to pay their tribute to the three centuries' tradition of style, elegance and refinement, that made the Florian name a renowned myth all over the world.
