About
Di Poneta is a farm that is named after the site where it is located, at the edge of the Chianti region, which was chosen by the leading families of Florence during the Medici's governing period as a holiday resort because it is rich in pine forests, olive trees, vineyards, venison and agricultural products of excellent quality. Some writings witness that the farm was owned by the Capponi family and that it lies is in one of the four areas mentioned in the edict dated 1716 issued by Cosimo III de 'Medici which traced the boundaries of the Chianti region as well, in 1895 Di Poneta Farm. Keeping up with its history and tradition, our kitchen offers typical Chianti and Tuscan food, made with daily selected ingredients as fresh pasta, vegetables, cakes and meat of the highest quality.
