La Locanda di Colle Ombroso" farm "Janas"We are a brand new farm with long established roots branching from the beautiful Italian islands of Sardinia (& Sicily). We produce wheat for bread and pasta with all the devotion that comes from centuries of tradition. Our aim is to find and deliver the quality of the true taste of the wheat into the pasta and flour we produced. In our restaurant La Locanda di Colle Ombroso we serve products passionately prepared to high standards with our flours, handmade pasta, legumes, jams and fresh vegetables grown locally by other farms. We really enjoy cooperating with other selected local farms in order to provide very tasty and super fresh products, all grown and produced in these surrounding fields of Umbria. We look forward to receiving you at the Locanda so you can sample and enjoy our menus and wines, to share all together the warmth of our fireplace. Our products:Hard and soft stone-ground wheat flour. Dried pasta made from durum wheat worked with bronze dies, dried at low temperature for about 48 hours and prepared with 100% purified water Types and shapes: Fusilloni, rigatoni, paccheri, pennette, fregola sarda, calamari, conchiglie, mezze maniche, gnocchetti sardi, all of "Senatore Cappelli" wheat. Legumes, vegetables, jams and marmalade suitable for cheeses.
