Paola and Sandrone take turns at cooking, and are well known for their extremely refined cuisine, to be enjoyed on their wide terrace with its incredible view of the Civetta and the Marmolada and is easy to reach on foot, on skis (Lagazuoi 5 Torri ski area) or by taking the Giau chair lift; it is at the hub of many excursions and routes for skiers and is a popular stop along the Alta Via No. 1. But if you're looking for a touch of romanticism, you can enjoy a dinner in one of the refuges, going up on a motor sledge and with a nocturnal descent. There is the possibility to stay overnight. After extensive renovations, the Averau refuge re-opens with a brand new mansard offering delightful double bedrooms in the loft with views to the Civetta and the Marmolada, or to the Tofana di Rozes. For groups, the refuge offers dormitory style rooms with 6 or 10 beds.
