About

Once you enter the madonnetta you immedately realize that it's a very old and typical 'osteria'. In fact it has practically unchanged since our great-grand father giuseppe together with his wife erminia opened it in 1904. It is a place where everyone can fill at ease because the atmosphere is friendly and relaxing: there are people sitting around tables drinking wine, having business lunches, birthday celebration with close friends or couples having a romantic dinner. The guests are looked after by the whole family who give wonderful hospitality and make sure the guests are happy and made to feel at home. Our kitchen offers a wide choice of cold mets like salami, sopressa, pancetta and local mountains cheeses from asiago and monte grappa, as well as delicious pickled vegetables. Among the first courses there are different varieties of soups, backed lasagne prepared in different ways according to the season and home made pasta like bigoli with varius sauces. Most of the main courses are prepared according to our regional tradition like liver, cooked in the venecian way, tripes or dries cod prepeared as we do in vicenza. Unforgattable is also our baked rabbit and goose, meat balls and seasonable vegetables. We hightly recommend you to try our jams made from wild fruits and our home made desserts. Excellent wine d.o.c. From different areas around marostica is served on request with every dish and finally you can't miss the appreciated guerra liquors containing grappa.
