About
The Restaurant and Pizzeria Lunaelaltro, opened in January 2009, has been restored from an old farm labourer's cottage, belonging to the original family. Many are the traditional elements, but there are also some surprisingly modern touches. To start with, the house proposes a wide selection of aperitifs, with typical seasonal cousine to follow. You can find homemade pasta, grilled meat dishes, from T-bone steaks to sirloin steaks of Angus and Chianina (precious Italian breed of cattle fed mainly with products from agricultural crops that surround the farms, which guarantee full traceability of the meat from birth to the moment of sale). Alternatively there is fried fish and fish dishes. The pizza menu is very varied. You can choose between different kinds of dough made from organic flour. Our wholemeal kamut and oat dough is very popular and contains wheatgerm, golden linseed, olive pulp extracts, and red grape. Simple, natural ingredients that make the pizza more digestible and provide antioxidants that help fight ageing. For those with a sweet tooth there is a tempting homemade dessert menu. To accompany the dishes, there are quality draught beers, which are done by tapping the fall to enjoy more of the product, alternatively there is also a good selection of bottled wines.
