Bar Enal, situated within the Palazzo dei Capitani complex in the town centre, is an Italian working men's club despite having the appearance of a British Pub once inside. There's a small garden at the rear of the bar, overlooking the lake. We serve snacks, traditional Italian Bruschette,many types of toasted sandwich, and freshly baked rolls. If you're tired of pizza and pasta, try our Chip Butties, or Cottage Pie, even Beans on Toast! Everything is freshly prepared while you wait so if we make you wait for your food, we hope you'll understand.Lager, Guinness, and Newcastle Brown Ale are all on draught and there's a good selection of bottled beers, and CIDER! We serve Tetley Tea, Yorkshire Tea and PG Tips, in proper teapots! We have a 4.5M video screen and show some Brtish sporting events (some Premier league football)on Italian TV, N.B. WE DO NOT HAVE SKY! We are one of the few bars that are open all year round, we normally close on Fridays but are open 7/7 from October to April. Just the right place to drop in for lunch. We serve food from 11:30 until 15:30. Free wi-fi service for guests. Please note, as we are a working men's club, small children, and loud rowdy stag or hen party groups are not welcomed. We stumbled across this humble small cafe. It really does have so much to offer. The surroundings are awesome. The owners can come across as stern but it really adds to the quirkiness. The food is lovely and really good value. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely setting in the palazzo courtyard, Bar Enal is a quirky little place with good basic food. What makes it though is the entertaining menu and the even more entertaining owners. Definitely worth a visit!!
