This had been my favorite Cafe over the years, but it’s closed.I was in Padua for the feast day of the Saint and found it closed, hopefully it’s only temporary.
Service is OK. You get the usual snack of chips and olives with your wine. You are paying for the view of the basilica.
We ate lunch here with friends & thoroughly enjoyed it. Service to our outside tables was friendly & attentive. Food was delicious and satisfying. Highly recommend and right across from the Basilica.
Great stop for coffee, wine, beer, snacks. Fun menu, good prices and great staff. No rush, take your time.
This is a very traditional bar which I like. The view of the cathedral whilst sat having a drink is lovely. The major downside is the are charging for the view. Two small beers at 8 euros. The most I have paid on this trip.
