We were doing streetfood hopping and found A La Vecia Papussa. It is right on the canal and the spritz and streetfood is fabulous. Food is fresh and you get to sit outside and watch Venice happen. Love the owner. We will most certainly return.
Found this excellent bar conveniently located next to our hotel . As a result visited on several occasions during our trip . Friendly atmosphere and good prices would highly recommend . Good selection of music . Definitely worth a visit .

This little gem with reasonable priced drinks and some delicious food. The fromaggio picante Cicchetti is worth it alone! Stop here!
Locals only place that has a good selection on wine and some nice cicchetti. Very loud at times but friendly service.
